Today I would like you to go through your shirts. Yes. Even the old moth eatten t-shirts from summer camp whaen you were little. Or a tie dye that you got from an old friend whom said you looked good in it......... In the '80's. I know that might be your style, but an old, stained, and streched out t-shirt does not reflect a good image on yourself. If you have not worn a shirt in three months, please do the horor of throwing them out, you've proboble forgotten about it.

If you choose not to throw away your chlothes, you can upcycle your clothes. To upcycle is to repurpose old clothes or to add bling and patches to them. That tie dye could have iron on heart patches on the holes. If the shirt is stretched, you can just cut a vertical slit from the hem to an inch above your belly button and tie the two sides together in a double knot.

For closet value I would say that saving maney and going to a thrift store is always better. Did you know that every new outfit that you buy was created using LOTS of water.

just so you know, my methods do work. The three monthes rule also works on toys, pillows, nailpolist, and much more. If it is seasonal, use the three yrear rule. Put the objects going on their third month without use in a storage tub. Place the plastic tub in a high traffic area in your house bathroom, kitchen, etc. Ever time you walk by the look in the bin. If you see something you are going to use take it out of the bin and then you don't donate it because it is useful. At the end of the month, if you still don't use it, donate it.

Bye bye
